Michoacán political leaders hold citizen outreach tours

State deputy Xóchitl Ruiz González, chair of the Human Rights Commission in the Michoacán State Congress, organized a series of meetings with residents across municipalities to hear families’ concerns, explain legislative actions and reinforce direct dialogue with the public.

Gladyz Butanda Macías, a candidate seeking to lead the 4T movement in Michoacán, visited more than 20 municipalities, meeting women, merchants, transporters, indigenous community members, teachers, artisans and other stakeholders. She said the tours helped gather proposals and build alliances, aiming to shape a collective agenda that responds to local needs.

Both officials highlighted the importance of listening to citizens and using the feedback to guide policy and development plans for the state.
