Michuhol-gu to open Moonlight Children's Hospital in Incheon

Dohwa Bon 365 Clinic in Michuhol-gu, Incheon, will begin operating as a ‘Moonlight Children's Hospital’ starting November 2. This designation allows the facility to provide pediatric care during late-night hours on weekdays and throughout weekends and public holidays.

Under the new designation, the clinic will operate from 6:00 PM to 11:00 PM on weekdays, and from 9:00 AM to 9:00 PM on Saturdays, Sundays, and holidays. The nearby Gakkaun Dohwa Pharmacy has been designated as a partner pharmacy to ensure prescription availability during these extended hours.

The decision follows efforts by Representative Heo Jong-sik and the Incheon Metropolitan Government to expand pediatric medical access. While guidelines typically limit one such hospital per district, Michuhol-gu qualified for an additional designation because its pediatric population exceeds 50,000. The clinic currently employs 23 medical staff, including two emergency medicine specialists, and has established a cooperation system with New Seongmin Hospital, Ain Hospital, and Incheon Sarang Hospital to handle severe cases.
