Michy Batshuayi to join Abha Club from Eintracht Frankfurt

Belgian striker Michy Batshuayi is expected to leave German Bundesliga club Eintracht Frankfurt to join Abha Club in Saudi Arabia. Although Batshuayi has a contract with Frankfurt until 2027, reports indicate he is no longer in the plans of head coach Adi Hütter.

Batshuayi, who previously played for Turkish giants Beşiktaş, Fenerbahçe, and Galatasaray, has struggled to find form in Germany, scoring four goals in 21 appearances. He is reportedly already in Saudi Arabia and has been received by club officials, with an official announcement expected soon. While Al-Shabab had shown interest, Abha Club appears to have secured the transfer.

His departure is seen as a strategic move for Eintracht Frankfurt to free up budget, as the player reportedly earns approximately three million euros in base salary per year.
