Mick Foley praises AEW's midcard focus and backs MJF

WWE Hall of Famer Mick Foley announced his official role with All Elite Wrestling (AEW) at the Double or Nothing pay‑per‑view, joining the pre‑show Buy In as an analyst alongside Renee Paquette. In an interview with Ariel Helwani, Foley highlighted AEW’s treatment of its midcard, noting that the promotion gives genuine importance to mid‑card wrestlers and tag teams, a contrast to his view of WWE’s approach.

Foley also expressed strong support for AEW champion MJF, saying wrestlers can create their own "WrestleMania moments" outside the WWE stage. He praised MJF’s microphone abilities as among the best in the business and hinted at the possibility of a future in‑ring appearance with the champion.
