Mick Jagger contributes guitar to Rolling Stones new album and eyes biopic

Mick Jagger revealed that he played guitar on the Rolling Stones’ new album Foreign Tongues, adding punk‑rock riffs and a more aggressive sound despite Keith Richards and Ronnie Wood’s reservations. Produced by Andrew Watt, the record features Jagger’s guitar work on tracks such as “Mr. Charm” and “Covered In You,” with Paul McCartney guest‑appearing on bass.

Separately, Jagger, now 83, is reportedly “sincerely thinking about” a Rolling Stones biopic after being inspired by Sam Mendes’ upcoming four‑film Beatles project slated for 2028. Sources say Jagger wants a voice in any film about the band and is exploring possibilities for a movie or TV series that would tell the Stones’ story.
