Mick Terrill replaces Mark O’Neil for BKB heavyweight title fight

Mick Terrill will replace Mark O’Neil in a BKB heavyweight title fight against champion Gustavo Trujillo at BKB 58 in Miami. The change occurred after O’Neil was forced to withdraw due to visa issues.

Terrill, who was originally scheduled to attend the event at the James L. Knight Center as a commentator, accepted the challenge on short notice. Terrill holds an 11-2 record with 10 knockouts, while Trujillo remains undefeated in BKB competition with an 8-0 record, having won all eight fights by first-round knockout.

BKB CEO David Tetreault described the sudden booking as a reflection of the promotion’s commitment to “real fighters, real fights, no waiting around.” The event is scheduled for Saturday, August 29, 2026.
