Mickie James to referee TNA Knockouts World Title match at Bound for Glory

TNA Wrestling President Carlos Silva has announced that Hall of Famer Mickie James will serve as the special guest referee for the Knockouts World Championship match at Bound for Glory 2026. The event is scheduled for this Sunday at the Yuengling Center in Tampa, Florida.

The championship match will feature defending champion Xia Brookside against challenger Indi Hartwell. Silva stated that James was brought in to ensure impartiality and maintain order following recent conflicts involving TNA authority figures. Specifically, the decision follows the suspension of Director of Operations Daria Rae, who was suspended after an incident involving Hartwell.

James, a former WWE Women’s Champion and TNA Hall of Fame inductee, will oversee the bout to prevent any wrongdoing during the high-stakes title defense.
