Mickoski announces neurophysiology department renovation and new clinical center plans

North Macedonian Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski announced the full renovation of the neurophysiology department at the University Clinic for Neurology. Dr. Jovan Bozhinovski, director of the clinic, noted that the facility has been transformed from a neglected building into a functional environment with improved conditions for staff and patients.

The government is prioritizing a broader healthcare reconstruction agenda, which includes upcoming projects for the Clinical Center in Shtip, the Clinical Hospital in Tetovo, and the health center in Kizhevo. Mickoski stated that the administration is negotiating with international financial institutions to secure better funding conditions for these hospital projects.

Plans for a new large-scale clinical center in Skopje are also underway. The government is currently negotiating with private landowners regarding potential sites near the Boris Trajkovski Sports Center. Decisions regarding the integration of the '8 Septemvri' hospital and the PET center into this new complex are expected soon.
