Mickoski predicts VMRO-DPMNE victory in Bervenica local elections

North Macedonian Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski expressed confidence that the VMRO-DPMNE coalition will win the second round of local elections in Bervenica. Mickoski stated that the party aims to secure over 4,000 votes, building on the nearly 3,000 votes received in the first round.

During a parliamentary session, Mickoski criticized the previous 20-year administration led by BDI, alleging that their governance resulted in the departure of approximately 10,000 residents from the municipality, 90% of whom were ethnic Albanians. He accused political opponents of utilizing ethnic division during the campaign, whereas he claimed his coalition focused on improving the quality of life for all citizens regardless of religion or ethnicity.

Mickoski emphasized that the goal is to move past outdated political strategies and focus on development projects, contrasting his administration's current investments in local infrastructure with the perceived inaction of previous leaders.
