Mickoski to visit US for high-level diplomatic and economic meetings
North Macedonian Prime Minister Hristijan Mickoski is traveling to the United States with a government delegation for a series of high-level meetings. His itinerary includes visits to Washington, D.C., and New York City.
In Washington, Mickoski plans to meet with representatives from the U.S. Senate, Congress, and the Department of State. He also intends to hold discussions with the U.S. International Development Finance Corporation (DFC) regarding potential investments in energy, advanced technology, and other sectors. The Prime Minister noted the DFC's existing involvement in the Antimon (Krstodol) project and expressed interest in attracting defense industry companies to North Macedonia by offering the Krivolak training ground.
Following his time in Washington, Mickoski will travel to New York to attend the United Nations General Assembly. During this period, he expects to meet with various world leaders and influential think-tank organizations, as well as pursue bilateral meetings with representatives from Gulf nations.
