Micky van de Ven climbs Tottenham Hotspur speed rankings

Tottenham Hotspur defender Micky van de Ven has seen a significant increase in his recorded top speed, reaching 33.1 km/h following a match against Everton. This performance places him seventh on the club’s current speed rankings for the 2026/2027 Premier League season, trailing players such as Savio, who recorded 34.5 km/h, and Omar Marmoush at 34.3 km/h.

Former teammate Nick Doodeman has commented on the defender’s early career, noting that his physical attributes were evident during his time at FC Volendam. Doodeman stated that van de Ven’s strength and speed were immediately apparent, even during training sessions where the defender could easily overtake others.
