Micron signs long‑term memory supply deals with Qualcomm and auto suppliers for AI‑powered vehicles

Micron Technology announced long‑term Strategic Customer Agreements with a range of automotive suppliers, including Qualcomm, Harman, Visteon, JOYNEXT, DENSO, Astemo and Hyundai Mobis. The deals secure the provision of high‑performance memory and storage components needed for AI‑enabled, software‑defined vehicles, covering functions such as advanced driver‑assistance systems, digital cockpits and connected services. Micron, the only U.S. maker of high‑bandwidth memory used with Nvidia AI processors, said the agreements will give automakers stable supply and pricing, improve production planning and support future vehicle platforms. Executives highlighted the growing demand for AI tools across data centers, consumer electronics and automotive applications, with Micron CEO Sanjay Mehrotra noting the importance of memory for intelligent vehicle experiences and Qualcomm CEO Cristiano Amon stressing the need for a strong technology ecosystem.
