Micron Technology sees institutional investors adjust holdings
Clearbridge Investments trimmed its Micron Technology stake by 15.3% in Q4, selling 123,587 shares and ending with 682,470 shares (0.06% of the company, worth about $194.8 million). Franklin Resources reduced its position by 10.1% in the same quarter, selling 204,468 shares and holding 1,814,711 shares (0.16%, about $517.9 million). Both moves are part of broader activity among large investors: Brighton Jones, Sivia Capital, United Bank, Schnieders Capital and Sei Investments reported increases in their Micron holdings over recent quarters, while Vanguard, State Street, Capital International and Norges Bank also adjusted positions. Institutional investors now own roughly 80.8% of Micron’s outstanding shares. The adjustments come as Micron, a trillion‑dollar‑plus AI‑chip maker, continues to draw market attention for its role in high‑bandwidth memory supply and recent earnings outperformance.
