Micron Technology sees massive growth driven by AI memory demand

Micron Technology is experiencing significant growth driven by the artificial intelligence memory boom. The company reported fiscal Q3 2026 revenue of $41.46 billion, a 346% year-over-year increase, with net income reaching approximately $28.24 billion. For the upcoming fiscal fourth quarter, Micron has guided for revenue of approximately $50 billion and an adjusted gross margin of roughly 86%.

Wall Street analysts remain largely bullish on the stock. Robert W. Baird raised its price target to $1,520, while Morgan Stanley maintained an ‘Overweight’ rating with a $1,200 target. Analysts cite strong demand for high-bandwidth memory (HBM) and persistent supply constraints in the DRAM market as key drivers for continued performance.

However, the company faces legal challenges. Netlist has filed a complaint with the U.S. International Trade Commission seeking to block imports of Micron memory chips, alleging that the technology infringes on patents related to high-bandwidth memory used in AI computing products from companies like Nvidia and Google.
