Xbox experiences major outage affecting sign-ins
Microsoft has acknowledged a “major outage” affecting Xbox Network services, causing widespread sign-in and account creation issues. The disruption impacts users across multiple platforms, including Xbox Series X/S, Xbox One, Xbox 360, Windows PC, Android, iPhone, cloud gaming, and web services.
Users may experience difficulties logging into their Xbox profiles, being unexpectedly disconnected, or encountering errors when attempting to create new accounts. Because many features require an active sign-in, most games, applications, and social activities are currently unavailable. The outage also specifically affects Minecraft on Android devices.
While those currently logged in may be able to continue playing, users are advised to avoid signing out to prevent being locked out. Microsoft is currently investigating the cause of the incident and has stated they will provide updates as more information becomes available.
