Microsoft analysts raise price targets ahead of fiscal 2027 results

Wall Street analysts have raised their price targets for Microsoft shares to a range of $600 to $675 ahead of the company’s fiscal 2027 first-quarter results, scheduled for release on October 28. Several major firms, including UBS, Jefferies, Citi, and TD Cowen, have increased their estimates while maintaining positive ratings such as ‘Buy’ or ‘Outperform’. UBS issued the highest target at $675.

This optimism follows strong previous performance, including a quarter where Microsoft reported $90 billion in revenue, an 18% year-over-year increase. During that period, Microsoft Cloud revenue grew 27% to $59.3 billion, with Azure and other cloud services specifically seeing a 43% increase. CEO Satya Nadella noted that Azure revenue had surpassed $100 billion for the first time during the quarter ended June 30, 2026.

Despite the bullish analyst sentiment, some market observers suggest caution regarding current valuations. While Microsoft remains a dominant force in enterprise software, cloud computing, and artificial intelligence, certain investment analyses argue that the stock may not offer sufficient upside for new investors at its present price point.
