Microsoft and SAP expand presence at Zurich Airport's Circle

Several international companies are expanding their footprint at The Circle, a business complex located at Zurich Airport. Microsoft Switzerland is leasing approximately 2,000 square meters of additional space to establish a larger innovation hub designed to facilitate exchange with customers and partners.

SAP also plans to expand its presence with the opening of a new SAP Experience Center in the spring of 2027. The facility will span three floors and cover 750 square meters, focusing on demonstrating the integration of data, business applications, and artificial intelligence within the SAP Business Suite.

Other companies, including retailer Avolta and airline Edelweiss, are also increasing their involvement at the site. Avolta is expanding its use of the complex to occupy multiple floors, with renovations having begun in July 2026 and occupancy expected in the first quarter of 2027. Edelweiss has already opened its new ‘Edelweiss Hub’ at the main square.

According to Stefan Feldmann, Head of The Circle at Flughafen Zürich AG, the high occupancy and demand for additional space demonstrate the complex's establishment as a significant international business location, particularly for firms seeking modern workspaces with excellent transport links.
