Microsoft appoints Angela Nganga as East Africa Country Lead

Microsoft has appointed Angela Nganga as the Country Lead for East Africa. Based in Nairobi, Nganga will oversee the company’s engagement with governments, enterprises, and the technology ecosystem across Kenya and the wider East African region.

Her mandate focuses on advancing artificial intelligence (AI) adoption, digital transformation, and workforce readiness. Nganga aims to support the development of locally relevant AI solutions and help regional companies transition from being consumers to producers of AI innovation to better participate in the global digital economy.

A Microsoft veteran since 2012, Nganga previously served as the Regional Director of Customer Success for East and West Africa. She brings over 20 years of experience in technology, telecommunications, healthcare, and public policy to the role.
