Microsoft enables taskbar repositioning in Windows 11

Microsoft has introduced an update to Windows 11 that allows users to move the taskbar from its fixed position at the bottom of the screen. Through the KB5124008 update, users can now choose to place the taskbar at the top, left, or right of the display.

This feature can be accessed via Settings, under the Personalization and Taskbar sections. The update also includes controls for taskbar size and ensures that the Start menu automatically adapts its orientation based on the new taskbar position. This change restores a level of flexibility that was present in Windows 10 but removed in earlier versions of the Windows 11 interface.
