Microsoft expands AI Copilot tools for Power BI analytics and MSP security services
Microsoft announced that its Power BI Copilot will become generally available on 15 June 2026 for Premium and Fabric customers. The new "Narrative with Copilot Visuals" feature lets users create reports and visual layouts through natural‑language prompts, shifting analytics from static tables to dialog‑driven insight generation. The rollout is part of a broader Fabric strategy that also introduces Data Agents and AI functions for larger data workloads.
In parallel, cloud‑platform provider Pax8 will add the Inforcer platform to its Marketplace in summer 2026. Inforcer offers managed‑service providers a standardized solution for Microsoft 365 security, governance, compliance and "Copilot Readiness" assessments, helping small‑and‑medium businesses adopt Microsoft 365 and Copilot services securely and at scale. Both initiatives underline Microsoft’s push to embed AI assistants across its enterprise stack while raising new demands for data governance and security controls.
