Microsoft expands MAI Code-1 Flash AI model across Copilot services

Microsoft is rolling out its MAI Code-1 Flash model to a wider range of Copilot products. The model is designed for fast, low‑resource code generation, syntax explanation and debugging, delivering suggestions in near‑real time for developers, students and other technical users. By extending the model beyond a single surface, Microsoft aims to embed AI‑assisted coding into various development environments, business‑productivity tools and other services that rely on Copilot.
