Microsoft Fabric introduces Database Hub in public preview

Microsoft has released Database Hub in Microsoft Fabric into public preview, offering a centralized platform for managing large-scale database estates. As organizations expand their use of AI and cloud modernization, database environments often grow to include hundreds or thousands of resources across various subscriptions, regions, and platforms.

Database Hub is designed to help security teams and database administrators assess security posture across multiple supported platforms, including Azure SQL Database, Azure Database for PostgreSQL, Azure Cosmos DB, and SQL Server instances. The tool aims to provide a unified view to identify security gaps and prioritize necessary actions, addressing the difficulty of manually collecting findings from disparate tools and portals.
