Microsoft Halo Studios plans remakes of Halo 2 and Halo 3

Leaker Rebs Gaming says Halo Studios is actively developing remakes of Halo 2 and Halo 3, with both projects already in early development. The claims come alongside the confirmed remake of Halo: Combat Evolved, titled Halo: Campaign Evolved, which will use Unreal Engine 5 and launch on Xbox Series X/S, PlayStation 5 and PC, targeted for 2026.

Microsoft has previously announced that it is working on multiple Halo projects using UE5, including a new multiplayer title and the next main entry in the franchise, but it has not officially confirmed the Halo 2 and Halo 3 remakes beyond the recent leaks.
