Microsoft introduces Canvas authoring plugin for Azure

Microsoft has introduced a Canvas authoring plugin designed to streamline the creation of Azure canvases. These canvases serve as shared, interactive workspaces where developers and agents can collaborate.

The plugin utilizes the Microsoft Canvas Toolkit and guides Copilot through a native canvas workflow. This process automates foundational tasks such as authentication, subscription scope, shared state, and host integration. Developers can use the plugin to generate complete Canvas Toolkit applications, including read-only Azure starters that allow for resource group listing after subscription selection.
