Microsoft rolls out general‑availability Copilot Cowork as Moody's launches AI decision‑skills

Moody's Corporation announced the launch of its first AI‑skills – platform‑agnostic instruction kits that encode Moody's analytical frameworks and link AI agents to the company's decision‑level ratings, research and risk intelligence. The skills, initially available on Microsoft 365 Copilot Cowork, let users execute complex financial workflows with a single natural‑language request, producing outputs such as earnings‑call summaries, peer‑comparisons, public‑information dossiers and sector analyses based on Moody's proprietary data.

Microsoft said Copilot Cowork, its autonomous agent powered by Anthropic models, is now generally available to all Microsoft 365 customers. The tool can perform end‑to‑end tasks such as drafting full documents or preparing meetings, and is billed on a usage‑based model (Pay‑as‑you‑go or volume‑discount plans). Microsoft estimates monthly compute costs of $50‑$500 per user, depending on task complexity. The rollout coincides with Moody's skills debut, enabling finance professionals to harness Moody's data through the newly released Copilot Cowork agent.
