Microsoft leads Portugal's best employer reputation ranking

Microsoft has secured the top position in a study by Onstrategy regarding the best employer reputations in Portugal. The technology giant achieved a score of 83 points, leading a group of companies recognized for excellence in employability.

The study, which surveyed over 50,000 citizens, noted a significant increase in high-performing brands. While only five organizations reached the 80-point excellence threshold in 2025, ten companies met this mark in 2026. Following Microsoft, the top rankings include Vodafone (82.7), Nestlé (82.6), Delta (82.4), and Lego (82.1).

Other organizations in the top ten are L’Oréal, Samsung, Nespresso, McDonald’s, and Google. Nespresso recorded the most significant reputation growth with an 8.4-point increase, followed by Samsung (+7.6) and McDonald’s (+6.8). The assessment evaluated companies across eight dimensions, including innovation, work environment, compensation, career development, and leadership.
