Microsoft to end Windows 11 24H2 Home and Pro support

Microsoft has confirmed that support for Windows 11 version 24H2 Home and Pro editions will officially end on October 13, 2026. After this date, devices running these specific versions will no longer receive security updates, quality patches, technical support, or monthly protections against new security threats.

Users are encouraged to update to Windows 11 version 25H2 or the more recent 26H2 version via Windows Update. While Home and Pro editions face this deadline, devices running Windows 11 Enterprise or Education editions will continue to receive updates until October 12, 2027.
