Microsoft unveils Xbox Nano compact wireless controller

Microsoft has unveiled the Xbox Nano, its smallest wireless controller to date. Designed for portability, the device measures approximately 13 cm (5 inches) and weighs about 100 grams, making it pocket-sized and suitable for children, players with smaller hands, or those gaming on the go.

Despite its compact dimensions, the controller retains 18 standard gameplay inputs. It features a rechargeable internal battery, a programmable Action Button for shortcuts like screenshots, and connectivity via Xbox Wireless and Bluetooth. This allows compatibility with Xbox Series X|S, Xbox One, Windows PCs, Android, iOS, and select smart TVs.

The Xbox Nano is priced at $49.99 (or approximately €49.99 / R$ 379) and is scheduled for release in November. Initial launch markets include the United States, United Kingdom, Japan, Australia, Canada, China, France, Germany, and Belgium. Microsoft is also offering holiday bundles through partnerships with Samsung and Meta.
