Microsoft unveils Xbox Nano, its smallest controller ever

Microsoft has announced the Xbox Nano Controller, the smallest controller in the company’s history. Designed for portability and ease of use, the device is aimed at children, players with smaller hands, and those utilizing cloud gaming services.

The controller measures slightly over 5 inches in length and weighs approximately 3.5 ounces (99 grams). Despite its compact size, it retains 18 standard input functions and a button layout consistent with traditional Xbox controllers. It also features a programmable ‘Action Button’ for custom tasks such as taking screenshots or recording gameplay.

Connectivity is supported via Xbox Wireless and Bluetooth. The device is priced at $49.99 (or €49.99) and is currently available for pre-order. Shipping is scheduled to begin in November across 36 countries, including the United States, United Kingdom, Canada, Japan, and Australia.
