Microsoft updates Windows 11 with accessibility features and enterprise ISOs

Microsoft is implementing several updates and facing challenges regarding Windows 11. Recent survey data indicates that the operating system is not the preferred choice for developers; only 12.8% of surveyed developers favor Windows 11, while macOS leads with 61.6% and Linux follows with 24.2%.

To improve user experience, Microsoft is introducing new accessibility features. A new contrast mode within the Magnifier tool will allow users to darken the interface—including menus and taskbars—without altering the original colors of photos, videos, or other multimedia content. This addresses a long-standing issue with traditional color inversion, which distorts visual media.

Additionally, Microsoft has released free 90-day evaluation ISOs for Windows 11 26H2. These images are intended for IT professionals to test enterprise compatibility and application behavior before the general release, rather than for home use.
