Xbox Game Pass announces September 2026 game additions and removals

Microsoft has announced the first wave of game additions and removals for the Xbox Game Pass service for September 2026.

New titles arriving throughout the first half of the month include Shelldiver, SpeedRunners 2: King of Speed, Dice a Million, Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War, The Royal Writ, Virtua Fighter 5 R. E. V. O. World Stage, and RuneScape: Dragonwilds. Notable highlights include the addition of Call of Duty: Black Ops Cold War on September 8 and the survival game RuneScape: Dragonwilds on September 15.

Conversely, ten titles are scheduled to leave the service on September 15. The departing games include Cyberpunk 2077, Dead Cells, Spiritfarer, Superliminal, Frostpunk 2, Commandos: Origins, Cricket 24, Deep Rock Galactic Survivor, Mullet Madjack, and Train Sim World 5. Microsoft is offering subscribers up to a 20% discount to purchase these titles before they are removed from the catalog.
