This specific field code functionality is exclusive to the Windows version of Word and is not available for Word for Mac or Word Online. Users on those platforms must rely on third-party extensions, such as the QR4Office add-in, to achieve similar results.

Google Docs does not currently offer a native, menu-integrated QR code generator. Instead, users typically utilize the built-in QR generator within the Chrome browser or install specific add-ons to insert scannable codes into their documents.
