Microsoft Xbox Games Showcase unveils Persona 6 and new Gears of War prequel

On June 7 2026 Microsoft streamed its annual Xbox Games Showcase, announcing several upcoming titles for Xbox Series X/S and PC. Highlights included the prequel Gears of War: E‑Day, slated for release on 6 October 2026, a new Fable game arriving on 23 February 2027, Halo: Campaign Evolved launching on 28 July 2026, and Resonance: A Plague Tale set for 27 August 2026. The event also revealed a teaser for Persona 6 and confirmed the remake Persona 4 Revival for 18 February 2027.

Separately, Atlus announced that its remake Persona 3 Reload has sold over three million copies worldwide across physical and digital formats. To celebrate, the publisher launched Steam discounts of up to 65 % through 6 July 2026 and highlighted its 30‑year anniversary alongside other discounted titles such as Metaphor ReFantazio, RAIDOU Remastered and Persona 5 Royal.
