Microsoft Xbox Play Anywhere catalog exceeds 2,500 games

Microsoft’s Xbox Play Anywhere program, which lets players buy a game once and play it on Xbox consoles, Windows PCs and supported handheld devices, has reached a new milestone. The catalog now includes more than 2,500 titles, up from the earlier 1,000‑game threshold, reflecting rapid growth as developers add the feature. Purchases require no additional subscription, and progress, saves and achievements sync automatically via the cloud, allowing seamless continuation across devices. The service permits use on only one device at a time per account. The expansion underscores Microsoft’s strategy to strengthen a platform‑agnostic gaming ecosystem and enhance flexibility for its user base.
