Microsoft Xbox Series X25 anniversary edition rumored to launch for 899.99 euros
Leaks suggest Microsoft is preparing to release a limited-edition Xbox Series X25 to celebrate the brand's 25th anniversary. According to reports from leaker Billbil-kun, the special edition console is expected to launch on November 27, 2026, coinciding with Black Friday.
The rumored pricing for the X25 is approximately 899.99 euros in Europe and 899.99 dollars in the United States. This places the commemorative model at a significantly higher price point than the standard Xbox Series X, which recently saw price increases due to rising component costs, particularly memory chips. The price aligns the console with the Sony PlayStation 5 Pro.
Technically, the X25 is expected to maintain the same internal hardware as the standard 1TB Xbox Series X, including an AMD Zen 2 processor and 16GB of GDDR6 memory. The primary draw is its aesthetic design, featuring a translucent “OG Green” shell that pays homage to the original 2001 Xbox. The package is expected to include a matching X25 Special Edition wireless controller, which may also be available for separate purchase.
