MicroStrategy says it will not net‑sell Bitcoin even if price falls to $30,000

Jiang Zhuoer, chief executive of Chinese mining firm BTCTOP, told investors that MicroStrategy will not become a net seller of its Bitcoin holdings even if the cryptocurrency’s price slips to $30,000. He emphasized that the company’s balance‑sheet risk remains low, with a debt‑to‑asset ratio projected to stay between five and ten percent in a worst‑case scenario. Zhuoer said that selective sales of older, low‑cost Bitcoin could be used to realise accounting gains and cover interest on the company’s STRC debt, without changing the overall accumulation strategy. The CEO also argued that the current discount on STRC is a short‑term market sentiment issue, not a sign of insolvency, and that the firm can continue to fund new Bitcoin purchases while maintaining its “net‑buyer” stance. These comments aim to reassure traditional investors about the durability of MicroStrategy’s Bitcoin‑backed financing model.
