MicroVision showcases perception portfolio at IAA Transportation 2026

MicroVision, Inc. is showcasing its expanding sensor and perception portfolio at the IAA Transportation 2026 event. The company is demonstrating its ‘Lidar 2.0’ strategy, which integrates Lidar hardware, perception software, and open sensor integration to address complex autonomous transport applications.

A central feature of the showcase is the new MicroVision Perception Platform™, a modular architecture designed to tailor sensor configurations to specific application requirements. The company is also presenting demonstrations of its MOVIA™ S short-range Lidar, HALO™ long-range Lidar, and providing a first look at its FMCW ultra-long-range sensor technology.

Additional demonstrations include new perception concepts for commercial vehicles and advancements in perception software and SLAM-based mapping. CEO Glen DeVos stated that the goal is to help customers develop the right perception solutions for their specific needs rather than simply providing individual sensors.
