Middle East airlines expand flight networks in Saudi Arabia and Oman

Airlines are expanding flight networks across the Middle East to enhance regional connectivity. Qatar Airways is resuming services to four Saudi Arabian destinations this winter: Qassim, Taif, Yanbu, and Tabuk. The airline will operate two weekly flights to each of these locations, contributing to a total of over 155 weekly flights to the Kingdom, a more than 10 per cent increase compared to the summer season.

Separately, Saudia will launch direct flights between Muscat and Riyadh starting October 27. Approved by Oman’s Civil Aviation Authority, the Saudi national carrier will operate three weekly services on this route, aiming to strengthen air links between Oman and Saudi Arabia.
