Middle Eastern airlines flynas and Qatar Airways win Skytrax awards

Major Middle Eastern carriers have received multiple honors at the Skytrax World Airline Awards held in London.

flynas was named the best low-cost airline in the Middle East for the ninth consecutive year. The airline also ranked among the top ten low-cost carriers globally and maintained a four-star rating for low-cost aviation following an audit of passenger experience elements including cabin cleanliness and crew efficiency.

Qatar Airways secured four awards, maintaining its global five-star rating. Its accolades include Best Business Class in the world for the 13th time, Best Airline in the Middle East for the 14th time, Best Business Class Lounge, and the award for Best Wireless Connectivity on board, making it the first airline to receive this specific distinction. Qatar Airways CEO Hamad Ali Al Khatir attributed the success to the efforts of the group's 60,000 employees.
