Middle Tennessee State University hosts tennis invite and veterans game

Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU) is hosting several athletic and commemorative events in September. The men’s tennis team will participate in the Rocky Top Invite in Knoxville, Tennessee, from September 18-20. The tournament, hosted by the University of Tennessee, features MTSU alongside Indiana, Memphis, and Louisville.

On September 19, MTSU will hold its 44th annual ‘Salute to Veterans and Armed Forces Game’ at Floyd Stadium. The event, which features a football game against Nevada, includes a Veterans Memorial Service, a ‘Vet Village’ in Walnut Grove, and a halftime military parade. The university plans to incorporate technical demonstrations, such as a drone delivery of the game ball via the Unmanned Aircraft Systems Operations Program and a flight show from the Professional Pilot Program.
