Middle Tennessee women's soccer falls to Liberty in CUSA opener

The Middle Tennessee State University women's soccer team suffered a 2-1 home loss to Liberty in their Conference USA opener. Despite Ania Denham scoring her eighth goal of the season late in the match, the Blue Raiders could not overcome a two-goal deficit against the defending tournament champions.

Following the defeat, Middle Tennessee (8-3-2) prepares to host Sam Houston in their next Conference USA match on Sunday. Freshman forward Ania Denham continues to lead the team offensively, having scored in six consecutive matches.
