Middletown hosts fifth annual Meet and Greet with first responders

Collaborative ABA Services, LLC will host its fifth annual Meet and Greet on September 26, 2026, at the Middletown Recreation facility in Middletown, Connecticut. The free event is organized in partnership with the South Fire District, the Middletown Police Department, and Middletown Recreation.

The initiative aims to facilitate positive and comfortable interactions between children of all abilities and local first responders. By meeting police officers and firefighters in a relaxed setting, the event seeks to build familiarity and trust between families and the emergency personnel who serve their community.

The morning program will feature games, activities, refreshments, and a special appearance by Sonar, the Hartford Wolfpack mascot. Additionally, various community partners will be present to provide families with information regarding local resources and organizations.
