Midea and Galanz advance microwave-steam-oven technology

Major Chinese appliance manufacturers Midea and Galanz are highlighting their technological advancements in the integrated microwave-steam-oven market.

Midea has launched its Zhiveigan R6S Gen 2 MAX, which recently received two gold awards at the IFA Berlin exhibition. The device features 3200W rapid steam technology and a 0.2-second rapid heating turbo hot air system designed to improve cooking consistency and reduce water accumulation in the chamber. Midea emphasizes its vertical integration, noting that it self-develops core components like magnetrons.

Galanz is positioning itself through its long-standing manufacturing history and specialized microwave expertise, including technology used in aerospace applications. The company offers a range of products tailored to different consumer needs, including the RTB and RYB series for small kitchens or rental living, the G60 for built-in kitchen renovations, and the Aurora Pro Q6L for professional-grade baking enthusiasts.
