Midea and Hama showcase smart home innovations at IFA 2026
At IFA 2026 in Berlin, several manufacturers are showcasing expanded smart home and appliance portfolios.
Hama is introducing a new WLAN weather station designed for seamless smart home integration. The device measures temperature, humidity, and air pressure both indoors and outdoors, providing a five-day forecast via a dedicated app. It supports voice control through Amazon Alexa and Google Assistant and can connect to up to three outdoor sensors without requiring an additional hub.
Midea, previously recognized in Germany for its PortaSplit mobile air conditioning units, is presenting a broader range of household technologies. Beyond climate control, the company is showcasing products for kitchen use, laundry care, floor cleaning, and robotics. Midea's current development focus includes increased automation and the integration of artificial intelligence across its appliance lineup.
