Midea Electronics Indonesia reaches 3 million units in production

Midea Electronics Indonesia has reached a production milestone of 3 million units, marking a significant expansion of its manufacturing footprint in the country. To support this growth, the company recently inaugurated a new Residential Air Conditioner (AC) production facility in Cikarang, West Java.

The Cikarang facility has expanded its production area from 13,000 square meters to 43,000 square meters on a total land area of over 51,000 square meters. In addition to air conditioners, the site produces twin tub and top loading washing machines.

Further expanding its operations, Midea is also developing a 150,000 square meter site in Karawang dedicated to refrigerator production, including single door models and chest freezers. President Director Jack Ding stated that the company intends to continue investing in local production to contribute to Indonesia's national economy and manufacturing industry.
