Midea unveils new home care technologies at IFA 2026

At IFA 2026 in Berlin, Midea showcased new innovations in its Fabric and Floor Care division under the theme ‘Zoned Care, Omni Clean’. The presentation focused on addressing common household challenges through advanced laundry and floor-cleaning technologies.

Key highlights include the Omni Trio washing machine, which features three independently operated drums—one 10 kg main drum and two 0.5 kg smaller drums. This design allows users to wash different types of clothing, such as baby garments and everyday wear, simultaneously with separate water inlets and automatic dosing systems. The device received VDE A-10% low-noise certification.

For floor maintenance, Midea introduced the AT8 Ultra wet-and-dry floor cleaner. This device incorporates features such as 60°C hot water on demand, anti-tangle technology, and automated roller cleaning and drying to manage stains and hair removal. The showcase innovations were honored with the YD Best Design Award.
