MIDeC Museum to host exhibitions by Midec Prize winners

The International Museum of Ceramic Design (MIDeC) in Laveno Mombello will host two exhibitions in September and October following the fourth edition of the Midec Prize for Contemporary Ceramics.

Starting September 6, the museum will feature “A memoria di forma,” a solo exhibition by Alice Reina, the absolute winner of the 2025 Midec Prize. The exhibition showcases previously unseen sculptural and installation works made of porcelain. Curated by Fabio Carnaghi, the collection includes the “Janas” series, which draws inspiration from pre-Nuragic Sardinian tombs through an exploration of natural forms and anthropological implications.

Additionally, a project room will present “Chain,” a work by Stella Giada Giudice. Giudice received the Midec Lab mention following a ceramic design workshop conducted at Naba in Milan.
