Midfielder Taïs Patterson signs with Spain's Sporting Huelva

Irish‑Swiss midfielder Taïs Patterson, 23, has joined Fundación Cajasol Sporting Huelva ahead of the 2026/27 season. The player arrives from the Icelandic FHL, will wear the number 14 shirt and is the club’s eighth signing as it builds a squad to challenge for promotion to the Primera Federación.

Patterson said she is “very excited” to start a new adventure in Spanish football, describing the league as “one of the most beautiful to watch” and viewing the sport as a form of art. She expressed confidence that the team can finish at the top of the table and help the club achieve promotion under coach Antonio Toledo.
