Midge Ure announces new 1980s career retrospective

Musician Midge Ure is set to release a new career retrospective titled ‘Chapters: The Best Of’ on November 13. The collection focuses on his influential 1980s catalogue, featuring new 2026 stereo mixes, 5.1/Dolby Atmos mixes, and instrumental versions.

Distinguishing itself from standard compilations, the release includes two new studio recordings of songs closely associated with Ure’s history: ‘Fade To Grey’ (originally with Visage) and ‘Yellow Pearl’ (associated with Phil Lynott).

The standard edition contains 15 tracks, while a deluxe edition expands the tracklist to 17 songs, including ‘When The Wind Blows’ and ‘Hell To Heaven’. Various formats are planned, including single CD, double LP, triple CD, and a Super Deluxe Edition featuring a surround sound Blu-ray.
