Midnight Generation releases new single ‘Almost My Own’

Mexican disco-funk band Midnight Generation has released the music video for their new single, ‘Almost My Own’. The track, which features talkbox, synthesizers, and electronic influences, explores themes of a relationship that nearly materialized but ultimately failed to become something more.

The music video utilizes a retro aesthetic, depicting the five-member band performing mundane domestic tasks such as ironing, reading newspapers, and hanging laundry, before transitioning to an outdoor performance by a lake. The band, which originated in Chihuahua, aims to blend nostalgic and futuristic sounds.

Midnight Generation is currently on a North American tour, supporting acts such as Empire of the Sun and Polo & Pan, with scheduled performances in various locations including Missouri, Michigan, Chicago, and Toronto.
